ya, goofed and did a quick format on a HDD that i didn't want too. i haven't written anything new to that drive yet.

anybody know of a good program to help recover the data (mainly my music collection).

i recommend getdataback, its from runtime.org, cool thing about it is you can run it and scan the hard drive to see what it finds, if it shows the data correctly (deleted data) like it were explorer, only then should you pay the fee for the license. i have had very good experience with it.
