My entire office was invited to a special pre-screening of the movie about two months ago.
Very well done and very scary how well Bruno Ganz portrays Hitler. He should have won the Oscar for that role! But in the end, what a DEPRESSING MOVIE!
I've been wanting to see this movie ever since it's been released. Unfortunately, it's a limited release so it's hard to find a place and time to watch it. Will probably wait until it comes out on DVD.
I work for the German government, and my colleagues, who know people who were alive during the Third Reich, told me that Bruno even matched Hitler's voice for the role.
agreed... I thin kit was almost a tad too unneccssary.
when I went to bed after the movie I went into each of my kids rooms and kissed them.
I would be interested to see how historically accurate it all is.
The movie did get a little long in certain parts no question, but it was an amazing tale, told in an amazing way, but amazingly talented people.
