Unstable ram

I am using 3 512mb sticks of value ram, and my mobo is rated to run 3 at 333mhz (400 for 1 or 2). However when I run them at 333mhz they are very unstable and cause my system to crash when my computer is put under any sort of stress. What can I do to increase the stability? By the way I have tried messing with the latencies and voltage. (they run stable at 266)

screw it, im gonna sell the ram to a friend. value ram add-in that doesnt exactly match my existing ram...bad news. was even unstable at 266, wasnt even worth it.
