Unstable internet connection?

For the past couple days, the internet in my room has been working on and off. It will work for different amounts of time throughout the day, and then just stop working for different amounts of time throughout the day. I have a wireless connection through a Linksys 2.4Ghz adapter. The router is though 1 wall about 15 feet from it. There is only one other computer using a wireless connection through this router. This network has been working since I first set it up, and this just recently happened. Any suggestions as to what I should do?
 
Take the wireless out of it to eliminate the home networking.

Connect directly to the modem and see if you still get the symptoms. If so - call provider, if not change the channel on your wireless to 1,6,11. Or you can just change your channel and see if you still have problems.

Then the problem wouldn't be the rotuer.
