I have a 3500+ Winchester OC'd to 2430mhz for like, 2 years now. Havent had a single problem since. All of a sudden I got 3 crashed in 2 days playing games. So I ran prime, it failed after about 3 hours. I only ran it at .025v + normal.

Temps have never broke 44C under load.

What should I do?? Is it safe to keep this OC running? Lower it the speed? Bump the voltages at the same speed?

I dont want this chip to die cuz I don't have the cash for somethign new right onw.

It probably won't die. Over time, it'll become less stable, forcing you to back off on your overclock. You can either do it now or later.

I'd recommend bringing the vcore back to factory spec and setting your overclock as high as you can at that vcore setting. Not much else you can do.

well just keep in mind, it's probably the vcore boost that's caused your chip to degrade over time. If you leave the vcore as high as it is, you may experience future degradation.

Dust out a bit. Run the cpu at stock clocks and voltages. Check for viri and malware.
