I installed Unreal Tournament in Win2k and started to play at 15fps. I have a Geforce 2mx card and when I play in windowsME I get 69fps!!! Maybe I have the wrong drivers for the card? It's a creative labs annihilator card. My friend told me to use the Nvidia drivers but I wouldn't be able to use the Creative Labs software if I did that. Do I really need the software? I hear of people running cazy fps with this vid card in UT even, which supports D3D better than Open GL. Someone lemme know what drivers from Nvidia I need to get? Maybe this will solve my problem? Also the motherboard has drivers...should I install them too?

yeah i am also running in win2k and had terrible framerates at first, even at resolutions that should have been fine in sofware mode (i have gts 32meg). i had mouse lag and everything... the solution that i found was to download loki's openGL renderers for the game. now i am getting smooth framerates, about 50fps @ 1024*768*32 so i think that all is well. just go to google and look for loki openGL or something and hunt around to find them.... i forgot where they were, sorry. good luck

I have UT version 4.36 and Win2k. UT runs much much better in OpenGl than Directx for me.
