Wow! Great price, hows the game? I'm still playing UT2004 quite a lot because of all the maps and mods out there. Is this new version going to get the great mod and player map community that the old version had?

I think most UT2k4 fans weren't completely satisfied.

It's actually really good now patch 1.2 is out but needs far more people playing it. Hopefully deals like these will help.

I have tried it and it is pretty much the same as UT2k4, i think that is prob the problem?

I enjoyed the demo but it was way too high specd for my system. My poor 8400GS couldn't play at my 1280x800 native res. So I'm just going to skip this one unless I get a new rig sometime (fat chance on this college boy's budget). I used to play UT2k4 at 800x600 all low on my GeForce 4MX 420 and while it was choppy it was still a decent play. But UTIII just bothered my eyes the way that it would just crawl at some points. Which of course made it worthless to play online.

well it's meant to be more or less the same as UT2K4, not like they were going to change the gameplay much on something that is already perfected. The new graphics are nice though the problem was when it came out there were soo many bugs.

I don't trust gamespy's stats anymore. Roughly on average how many people are online playing UT3? I'd only pick it up for the MP portion and if there is a decent community for it.
