i picked it up, fun stuff but wish they hadn't taken out the pure assault and onslaught game types

My local Gamestop had plenty of copies at $13. Downloaded patch v2.0 and the Titan pack once I got home.

I assume I can enter the key into Steam and have it that way as well?

Yeah, if you bought the game already, you can just dl the Titan Pack for free, but UT3 is usually $20, now it's $12, a sale for the Titan Pack release.

I preloaded it as well. If I really like it, maybe I'll drop the 12 bucks...I have soooo many unfinished games already, though.

it's not a play the storyline sort of game, it's solely for multiplay online. IMO. Obviously there are people that do otherwise.

I did eventually, yes. I had to delete the content from my computer and start the download all over again. Then it worked.

There are so many more people it's insane. I'm glad they did all this. There are so many more people to play with now.

This is good news, I'll have to reinstalling it sometime soon. If you got on a team that actually worked as a team this game could be incredibly incredibly fun, but online was always a ghost town. Glad to hear its populated again.

There are so many more people it's insane. I'm glad they did all this. There are so many more people to play with now.

They still need to
a). Fix server browser (why can't I access from a game? I have to disconnect, wait for the server browser to load, etc, before I can even search for another server?)
b). Make server browser stop reporting bots as real players (half of the player counts that don't have a "+" by them are full of bots
c). Increase Maximum FOV to at least 110. Might as well go to 130 for the hardcore 3-screen players.

and last but not least,
D). STOP BANNING USERS LIKE ME FROM THE FORUMS WHEN THEY BRING THIS STUFF UP.
They permabanned my IP after banning my 2nd screenname. Not buying anymore Epic games. /angry

I played the weekend trial version through my Steam account at Winter LAN Fest this weekend. I would have played my full version that I purchased when UT3 first came out, except that it wouldn't accept my retail key as valid. WTF!?!?!
