It should be a US version...I've bought from GoGamer before on their 48 hour sales (HL2 CE for $50 back in November), and it was a standard retail version...no reason to believe this is any different.

It does have a single player tournament mode which basically puts you through each of the main multiplayer modes (DM, CTF, etc.) and uses bots as opponents. While it's not quite as good as fragging someone half-way across the country, the bots are certainly competent and should give you a decent challenge.

No, you can get $1.99 if you select "Dirt Cheap" shipping. I believe you have to login to be able to change the shipping option though.

I heard the CDROM version is something like 5 to 6 CDs. YIKES!

In case anyone's interested, I recommend trying the original UT '99 Game of the Year Edition too. It's the time-tested and proven classic that established the base of fans that UT 2004 depended on for its sales. People are still playing the original and even making new maps for it. I say this in case anyone tries UT 2004 and is unimpressed--give the original--which is widely regarded as the best version--especially for Capture the Flag--a try.
