Unreal 2 from Amazon's Friday Sale $9.99 AR + Free Shipping

OMG..I got this last time for 19.99 and I thought that was hot! Guess they are trying to unload this item fast. Good deal for a decent game....
 

After all the poor reviews, I passed on this. But for $10, I'll give it a try.
I never made it though the original Unreal. Never grabbed me like Doom.
The fact that this game fails to acheive the atmosphere of the original is a positive.

These Amazon software rebates make for some great deals. I got $40 back on
XP home and $20 back for Icewind Dale II. And the rebates come right away,
at least in my experience.
 
Good deal! I got it during Amazon's last sale for $19.99. It's barely worth $19.99 but IMO it's a good deal at $9.99.
 
Sweet thanks I am all over it!! I have been looking for a good deal on this game forever! I have was looking forward to this game for two years, although I am still fuming over fact it has no mulitplayer it really is a real flop but for $9.99 and after all the waiting, it will be totally worth it!!

IMO: (any game without multiplayer is worth waiting for a good deal =< $20)

How fast are Amazon rebate's?

Anyone know a place that will PM this AR price?(my bro need this but he is a no rebate guy)
 
Amazon's pretty good about rebates. Ordered a game about a month ago during their "March Madness" and they kept me updated through the entire process by email (submission received, processed, check mailed...).
They just emailed me that the check is on its way, so even though I don't have it in my hands yet I feel pretty good about their rebates.
Good enough to get in on this Unreal II deal myself (just did, free shipping makes it even sweeter).

Try gamespot.com, I got it there yesterday. It's a VERY short demo (10 minutes or so) but the graphics are very pretty and the gameplay is fun. The full game is not so fun, I've heard but I'm sure I'll get $10 out of it.
I just found out my order won't ship for a week! The website still says 24 hour shipping too! :|
 
Superhot deal! I have been meaning to pick this up for myself. It is a decent game. Definitely worth more than $10, not that I am complaining. I may have to run through it one more time with my improved graphics card.
