On a very serious note, what the hell is stopping the US Military from purchasing bulk 360 consoles from retailers just to give a big fuck you to Microsoft? Can't someone just call Walmart and be like, "Yo.. we want 30k 360's. Here is a PO#; bill the DoD."
Yeah, that would show MS who is boss

Microsoft just needs to paint the xbox green, call it a military version, and sell them for $10K each. The military will buy thousands..

A friend of mine just had a first run 360 go RRoD, they replaced it for shipping costs, like 40 bucks.

I took mine to the UPS store and as soon as I walked in they had box on the counter. They said they do several per week. IIRC it was < $20 to ship it via ground. It's been good ever since. I *did* get back the same console too.

I'd like to see us spread democracy, not selfish violence. I might buy an xbox with a note to Microsoft that their not selling to the military to not 'weaponize' the system is the reason.

Everyone in the US is for a 'strong' military able to defend the country. The two groups are those who want to defend the country, and those who want to run a global empire under the mask of 'defense'.
