Yeah but I'm a professional...and one of the extremely few who knows what he's talking about (since I have a real tinfoil hat, and thus no scrambled brain).
The government mandated the switch to aluminum foil to thwart the effects of the tinfoil hat. Most people now think they are getting protection when they are not.
It's clearly a conspiracy.
Inspector Gadget is checking you out buddy.:p

Do you have a source of bulk tin foil for us? They didn't have it at Costco the last time I checked.
When ER said tin foil he actually meant lead. I'll bet he's walking around right now with a 10lb block of lead molded to the top of his head.:p:D

Did you read the news article about the guy who got busted for masturbating while driving 95mph?

He got off on a misdemeanor.

Lead has it's uses, but real tinfoil is where it's at for the mind rays.
You could easily fashion a nice lead helmet, and apply real tinfoil inside and out.

One trick for finding tin, look for it in sheets instead of foil.

I've got a much more advanced helmet, and a full suit that I use when I step outside.
My underground crawlspace/basement room has full protection applied to the walls, floors, and ceilings.

And I'll tell you I've got a lot more hair (everywhere), easy to reconfigure to throw off recognition software.

I think that's all the time I have for now. Humpty Dumpty still requires a fair bit of attention. Though it looks like we are through the worst of it. At least until they decide on further surgeries or amputation. Then we get to start the healing process all over again. Hopefully they can just put Humpty together again with surgeries though, and use smaller incisions that will heal faster and have less chance of infection. Having your limbs smashed off with steel plates is super messy.

Actually, one last response before I go.

If you want bulk tin, you can get it in bar form and/or by the pound. It's easy to get 99.9% pure and that's pretty good, a few mils thick at that percent will protect you even when directly next to one of the "mobile" projectors (the ones in those van sized boxes). Even 99.999% can be acquired easily enough, incorporate the right amount of that (and other materials) into a full suit for complete protection from any source at any range.

Here's some examples:
