I would like to issue a formal apology for me and Enfer Singe's actions in the server last night. The things he said at times were completely out of line, and I was unable to control some of the stuff he was saying. He loves the Anandtech community, and enjoys talking with people from it, but I suppose he is just not Mature enough to handle the Vent server. Again, I am very sorry for what happened, and I hope it can be forgiven.

Well, he was being much more of a douche than needed. Him telling Staples to "do us all a favor and click the X in the top right corner of your screen" and talking about Scott's wife as well as bugging Ross about his personal life was enough for me.

There were comments made that were enragingly inappropriate. These comments were intended as insults toward Ulfwald and his wife, RossMAN and his wife, and me. I don't care how much he loves Anandtech and the community because Ventrilo isn't Anandtech. Like I explained on several occasions last night, including the time he was connected, insults and poking fun at people is going to happen. Between friends or people that you can read properly, I don't think there's anything really wrong with that kind of thing because everybody knows that nobody means to actually offend or hurt anyone else. However, there still is a line that is drawn, even between friends. Ya just don't cross that line, no matter who you are --especially if you're someone that nobody recognizes or is new or something. I don't really think there needs to be a public service announcement, but jesus people... if you're new to a small group of people, let those people get to know you before you start flinging offenses so they don't take it personally, unless you WANT them to take it personally in which case you're a douche. Learn the boundaries of the situation. Learn how far you can go with your current company before you completely unload on people.
...it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to learn who the server admins are before you start flinging insults, either.

I hate to sound like an asshole, but you aren't responsible for his actions. When he (was he telling the truth about being Nikamichi?) was being an asshole, I think it's probably safe to assume that nobody else was thinking "Christ, that digitalsnare guy is a real asshole!"
It's not your fault. He's the only one that can make the decision for himself. He just needs to start making better decisions.
