Have you decided on a headset yet? I am seriously considering a Plantronics DSP headset.

Yes, someone is finally taking my advise. I have the DSP 400 (which I have been plugging in the channel). I was really going to get the 300? but it cost more so I just bought the 400. I have had it for several months but I have not used it for much so far. Some teamspeak servers when I play games but that is rare.

Been busy the past two nights but I maybe there tonight.

First I need to determine if I really want to spend close to $90 for a headset, probably not.

Jumped in last night for a few minutes. Sound quality was better than I expected.

Yeah, and you weren't too talkative, either! You coming back tonight?

I'll warm up as I get to know ya'll better.

The 90 is more in my price range. I was thinking of stopping at a couple of places on the way home to check prices. When I checked Badbuy, I didn't see any plantronics but they have them on thier website. I think I saw a 90 at circuit city for around $26? I'll have to check again.

I think the mic port on my lappy is shot (Dell can go suck a nice fat juicy one)... going out to see if I can pick up a USB mic off-the-shelf. Hopefully I'll talk to you guys tonight. :)

Yes, that really surprised me too coming from THE Rossman. I even looked it up before I saw your post and it was $53 at amazon just like I paid a few months back.

And for anyone wondering why the 90 is a lot cheaper, it is because the DSP series are USB headsets. The all have DSPs on the cord to translate the analog to digital and vice versa. I like these especially when playing a game or anything because I have the voice just diverted to the headset and any other sound from the PC comes through the speakers.

Dan and I were exchanging answers via IM on the second night we played InkLink, and everybody knew it. It was hilarious. It hasn't happened since, but I thought it was awesome when someone would guess right the first time they did and guess before anyone drew anything
