I couldn't keep my eyes open last night. I got quite a bit of sleep last night, though, so I should be able to make a hefty dent in my time-wasting schedule on Vent tonight. :p If not, I'll just get some sleep, dreaming about Crisco, Ross's tissues, and the fartcopter.

I put in a sticky request for this thread...I guess it can be edited if you go with teamspeak over Ventrillo, but we'll see if they actually sticky it

I put the request in Forum issues

so, are you guys liking Vent better than TS? I personally think Vent has better quality, but TS is easier to use for the less experienced users. I suppose if we are only going to have the usual crew in the VOIP server, the better quality one might be better, but if you are trying to get the new-bies in there, TS might be the way to go. I personally have no preference at this time, they both work fine for me :D

I'm really torn between the two choices. In order to make an informed decision we need to have at least Nik, MrsHoneybee, ActuaryTm, David, Alex, KarenMarie and Ulfwald in the same channel.

If we choose Ventrilo I may sign up for a host which has servers in the USA (no offense DannyBoy). Preferrably a host who is reputable and offers affordable prices.

I wish Skype supported at least 10 users in conference, I'd even pay a small fee for that functionality. That would be the perfect solution.

If you stick with vent I'll move the server to the US.

yeah, I think vent is better now that the server was moved with VA. Most of us are from the 'states, and it seems to be a lot better when the pings are lower, not as much cut-out and stuff. The only thing I wish it had was a better chat interface. I geuss we will have to keep that never-ending skype chat open forever! :p

Man, the british accent is sweet. I would pay like $200 if I could change my rural Indiana accent to a British one.

When I hear the 'American accent' I think show biz as most films will have that :p

When I hear an English accent in the movie screen it generally sounds WELL out of place. Even though I am pretty much use to hearing it everyday.

I may come in again tonight. For now I'm not sure if I'm gonna lie down and take a nap or do homework. Either way, vents for later.
