There is no password required to connect to the server, and there is currently no password required for the channel either,

Requirements:


Please make sure you do not have Teamspeak running when you open Ventrilo as this causes issues with your client.

RossMan can do his bit and tell you where you can get cheap things from, etc.

spanish is the worst... i'm in 3rd year spanish and i swear i still don't understand hardly any of the verb forms 🙁

You won't get anything under 100, server is hosted in Europe.

As long as your ping is under 250 you're good.
 
so, are you guys liking Vent better than TS? I personally think Vent has better quality, but TS is easier to use for the less experienced users. I suppose if we are only going to have the usual crew in the VOIP server, the better quality one might be better, but if you are trying to get the new-bies in there, TS might be the way to go. I personally have no preference at this time, they both work fine for me 😀

I'm really torn between the two choices. In order to make an informed decision we need to have at least Nik, MrsHoneybee, ActuaryTm, David, Alex, KarenMarie and Ulfwald in the same channel.

If we choose Ventrilo I may sign up for a host which has servers in the USA (no offense DannyBoy). Preferrably a host who is reputable and offers affordable prices.

I wish Skype supported at least 10 users in conference, I'd even pay a small fee for that functionality. That would be the perfect solution.

Right, that seems logical. I thought someone told me there was a way to pay for a more-than-5-person Skype voice server, Guess not? Or is it like hella' expensive? Did those other guys not show up on vent last night? Most of them were in there when I left, although some ppl were still having mic issues.
