I see a lot of comments about dropping the shadow level down to improve performance- you may not notice it much in the earlier levels but IMO the shadows are the last setting I would cut back on for later in the game. This one really has me kicking myself in the @ss for picking up the R9800Pro instead of waiting for the next gen parts. I'd love to see this game playable @2048x1536 w/16x AF- gawd would this look sweeeet
One disappointing thing about this engine is the audio is merely 'eh'. Unreal2 blows this away for positional audio at least with headphones. Would be nice if they used EAX HD as being able to precisely locate enemies by sound would be
very handy in this game. It's not horrible, but the audio is certainly last gen if not the gen before that, feels disjointed compared to the rest of the game.
