Unnormal TEMP for 9800XT with VGA heatpipe ??

mine is about 95 with heavy load ?? (with no FAN )

is that ok

run 3dmark 03 for one hour and everything seems to be ok

They do recommend using a fan with a 9800pro or higher.

But Nvidia's thermal throttling doesn't kick in until 140C so maybe gpus can handle these temps.

You need to either have good case airflow, or use the OP-1 92mm fan that's recommended for the ZM80C-HP... Also, Zalman recommends removing the PCI slot cover beneath the video card to let some of that heat flow out there.

I have a zalmon heatpipe on my 9700PRO and i have a 120mm running at 7v and i cant hear it :D so it does defeat it in one way but it is also silent (well ALOT quiter than the stock HSF)
