well my third semester in college started about a month ago.... told myself that i need to do good... gonna try my best, etc.

first swing of exams came around... started last week....

i studied for all of them... even pulled an all nighter during couple nights studying for them.
attended every single lecture/discussion .. even went to the exam reviews. made flash cards and worked through problems.

started getting my scores back... ended up with the following grades, 75%, 78%, 85%. all were above the mean of the class but still on the B/C borderline for most of all my classes. This frigging sucks... i studied a lot.. and my grades are crap. I'm pretty sure i can pull them up to end up with a B for the courses... but i need A's in my classes, not B's.

I have another test tomorrow... i think i lost my "juice"... just not motivated to do study and prepare for it. :(

Stop hitting the bong; start railing the Addies. Most of college is just testing your body's response to amphetamines. :D

Are you taking classes that you actually are interested in, or just ones that you "have" to take?

Are you working towards a major for work you'll enjoy doing, or work you dislike but "it pays well"?

If you're studying to learn something you don't really want to do, it's going to be much harder to be good at it.

Did you do the bulk of your studying right before exams? I am bad about cramming, and I find myself having to skim a lot of material just to get the 'main' idea. Of course this might be enough to get the B but I think the only way I could get A's is to keep up and take good notes (not just attend class) all semester. Good luck

out of the 16 credits I'm taking.... 14 are "have" to take courses.

the other 2 credit is some elective i chose because i heard it was easy... but the professor i got frigging sucks. He has us doing suprise quizzes and tricky ass questions on the exams. WTF, i thought it'd be a easy A and i can't drop it because i have no more drops left.

I really don't know what i want to do.... i started as a engineering major but i switched out of that. I know for sure that i want to MINOR in biomechanics.
my major currently is integrative biology and biochem. (double major). I feel like this is more of my thing than engineering. We'll see though.. I still have some time... maybe i'll switch my major again. I definitely want to get my money's worth.
