Good find. I wish the chances looked a little better...would it be worth going to a GTX 465 from a 4890? It still does everything I want it to do.

I just don't see them using the name gt 460 (which is supposed to be faster) and price it lower 249$? Unless this thing is like 5770 speed? But it don't look that way.

Having some problems understanding what you mean. Sorry.

I think the gtx 465 is going byby. :)

Definitely. But why are they selling GTX 470 as GTX 465?

Is it a ploy (by NVIDIA partners) to make people go buy GTX 465 believing they can get a GTX 470 for cheap but in fact most are truly GTX 465 so they can dump the inventory of GTX 465 before GTX 460 replaces it?

Yea, thats my guess also. But ASUS seems to be taking this seriously with the software they include with there cards, like they know they will unlock. Then again, mabe it only works 10% of the time? Time will tell.

I just got an Asus GTX 465. I tried the unlock utility but it did not work. Has anyone used the Asus utility to unlock an Asus GTX 465? I'm also curious if anyone was able to sucessfully flash a GTX 470 bios on a GTX 465 that would not unlock with the utility.
