Why is anyone buying anything accept for 2500+ bartons? I would sell your chip and get one. They are practically guaranteed 3200+

Because the KT333 chipset can't support a 333FSB much less talking about 400FSB for the 3200+. That's why the 2100+ works, because it uses the 266FSB.

The Wire Trick does work, although requires some tweasers or some VERY fine hands (looks at photo of girlfriend 😀).

well thats you. The price i paid for the soyo dragon ultra platinium KT333 New was 10.00 you cant beat that price unless it was free. and i picked up the processor from new egg for 50.00 so what you spent on a mobo I bought both. I picked up a Gig of crucial ddr for PC2700 125.00 that will oc quite nice. Im not complaining. back to my original problem why did adjusting the voltage fry my processor.

Actually the KT333 does support 333FSB, but your particular motherboard might be locked from doing so (can't imagine why). It even comes with the 1/5 divider that kicks in at 166mhz or above so the rest of your system is running at nomimal speeds. My 8k3a ran perfectly fine at 12x166 (333mhz) with my 1700XP prior to me upgrading to a nForce2.
