Unlocking/Overclocking 2700+

i have read that with bios 1003 it will most likely unlock it because that is the bios the reviewers were sent i think.
turn it on and see what bios you have (most likely earlier, i think 1003 was beta) and then see if you can manipulate the mults
 
I have read the the ASUS A7N8X can change the multiplier in the BIOS without physically
modifying the CPU. Anyway, to answer your first question, yes, you can unlock LOWER multipliers
on the 2700+ by just connecting the 5th L3 bridge. (i.e. you can lower your multiplier to increase
your FSB speed further.....
