i tryed to unlock my tbread-b to day with the pin mod(useing the socket) but it didint work. i used one wire(not the bunch) from a floppy. i think it is not moving the electricity good. should i use two wires or a wire from a psu. please help

ok i put the hole bunch in but i still cant change my clock.ive heard onece that on some boards you have to clear the cmos, do i. its a msi k7t turbo 2(kt133a chipset).

there is soething olut right now that i am looking or a link on that you plug into the socket and then the cpu into it and set it to the multiplyer you want or set it to unlock. i have a terrible memory but i will find it.

EDIT: found it on tom's LINK!

completely true. i don' sugget the tmc often but it sounded like you have no money and 50 is easier to come up with than 70. in the end i would of course suggest you get an nforce 2. as for the pin connecting manually i don't know why you are having such a problem with it. have yo tried just a solid copper wire? and if you have problems doing it to the cpu you can always do it on the backside of the socket on your mobo or vica-versa.

i found out why i cant oc my clock it needs overclocking bios(that msi does not make any more). so i have to go lookinh for them
