I haven't heard much about this, but I just ordered a motherboard and I was curious. I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my AOpen AX4SPE-Max board and I was looking through the online manual, and it looks like you can change the multiplier. I know you can on almost any board, IF the processor has been unlocked. Is this something that the board will do by itself, or do I have to do something else? I really don't need to unlock it, but I was just curious. Thanks!

if its unlocked the bios will let you change it.....if not...you won't be able to highlight the option in the bios

Hmm...that's what I thought. Is it hard to unlock a pentium 4? Is it worth it?

It is true u cant unlock a pentium for 5yrs or so.
Thats why i took MSI 865PE NEO2FISR which o/c the cpu through hardware
Or u can go to the other side: AMD
