This phone is on sale at NewEgg...

Looks like a good deal!

I tried out the Comet version at the T-Mobile store the other day. $150 unlocked is almost too much. It's really not very good. The screen is too small to easily use the onscreen keyboard, and it doesn't seem to support some of the multitouch actions on Android (for example I couldn't pinch to zoom on Maps).

the comet doesnt have a multitouch capable screen.

honestly the cheapest phone out there that is android is the optimus V on virgin mobile. 480x320 screen, with a qualcomm msm 7627, and froyo for $150 at basically every store. just have to be willing to use sprint network

2.8"! Hilarious. You realize you can get a good-condition Vibrant for about this price...
