Unlocked multiplier on p5b

It's not "unlock," you can't move your multiplier up, only down from your C2D's default multiplier to 6x, e.g., E6300 has 6x-7x, E6400 6x-8x, etc. Gigabyte's C2D mobos all have this feature in their BIOS way before Asus implemented it into their C2D mobo BIOS.

Yes, soon we'll be able to unlock our CPU's secret turbo mode, which will allow us 5 GHz on stock vcore :Q

This is why many complained in the review's comments. All not so informed people will think the Asus mobos can do the impossible, while others can't.

I knew that it didn't unlock up....
I guess i'm stupid for not knowing other boards already had the option

I thought that in the article it did say that there were some chips that did unlock up. I think Asus said to 14X max. Though as of yet i have not heard of anyone who has been lucky enough to unlock up as well as down so maybe it was just a way for them to attract more buyers.
