I dont agree, SunshineStar (sunshinestar.com) sells great overclock packages. When I walked into their store many months ago, in the front they were testing Dual 366@550 on Abit BP6's. It was running the Unreal flyby. This was when the 366@550 was a popular cpu. I have bought several things at the company and the only faulty product was my Abit BH6, but that was Abits fault, and it got replaced free.

Well, i've never ordered from them, simply because their name ends with a Z. Any mature PROFESSIONAL adult wouldn't be caught doing anything like that. But i've had a friend that bought something from there a month or so back, and same story as most people here. A two week delayed that took two phone calls to resolved.

Anyone that buys from them, knowing that resellerratings.com is there, deserves to be taken. They are criminals.

Hello,

I must say OCZ Delivered wht I wanted... I got a duron 600@900 for 93 bucks there and it went 1000 MhZ all the way. Sold it for 110 bucks. Waiting for a package from them right now actually :) Will update asap.

I have had a good experience with them. And they are a cheapo place to buy OC stuff so don't knock it before you try it.

Knightshade, i wanna make it clear to you that i'm not trying to pick a fight, rather i'm trying to help you out ;)

www.athlonoc.com hosts a forum for the ocz site... you can direct any questions or problems you have there...

Neither BrokenGods nor I are associated w/ the OCZ store, but we are satisfied customers, and along with other "satisfied" buyers, we hang out at the athlonoc.com forums... we try to keep a community atmosphere, but to many people expect us to know all the answers, and expect us to answer immediately. We're just a little community in the middle of this virtual void, but we try to help each other out, and we'd be happy to do the same for you or anyone else.

I won't proclaim to know it all, but i'll try to help you as best i can, and it's fairly evident your knowledge overclocking exceeds my own, so hopefully someone else can help you out...

also on one more note, i do believe they will provide the settings they tested the cpu at if you request it...

I just wanted to chime in that they aren't all evil. I picked up a TBird guaranteed at 1ghz, abit kt7-raid, and 128mb pc133 ram from them. Aside from an initial shipping delay (which they warned about on their website), everything came as ordered. The 1ghz tbird actually has a marking on it that it was tested at 1050, but haven't tried it at that. Its running nice and stable at 1ghz as advertised. Its really only a 750mhz tbird though, which disappointed me a bit, was hoping for a 800mhz.

They are scum at the OCZ I ordered over a month ago they screwed my order up. and now they wont answer my phone calls or e-mails. So I turned it over to Visa and they are going to go after them.

Jeez. Just weight the negatives vs the praises. A company with that many bad things said, would not be my first or 10th choice to buy from. Period. Take matters into your own hands, and decide for yourself. Just dont xpect to get EXACTLY what you deserve, or should you...

Gluck peeps, you're gonna need it.

Remember, in many cases, for every unhappy customer who tells 10 people their story, there is another happy customer who doesn't tell anyone. People are more inclined to complain, rant, rave, etc. about a bad experience than they are to relay good experiences.

Take any review with a grain of salt. Think about the last time you disagreed with someone about an experience when you consider information from a source like Resellerratings.com and remember those are all one-sided stories.

Happy shopping!

Then how do you explain this? They couldn't find enough happy customers, and so they make one up?

The owner of this company submitted a positive evaluation for it. The company's rating has therefore been set at 0.0. It was previously 3.8.

My friend and I purchased two Duron 600s tested to 950, and have had great luck to date. They both run solid at 950 ... I have even run mine at 1000 with no hitch. We purchased when they were quoting a 3-5 day delay in shipping, and that was about right. The CC was charged correctly, and the CPUs arrived in good shape as promised. We didn't buy motherboards or HSFs from them. See signature...
