UnLockd XP1600+ missing half multipliers

Hi,

My half multipliers arent working properly. They show in BIOS, I select them, but boots on the whole number instead. (ie. 8.5 uses 8, 9.5 uses 9)

KX7-333

This is my 1st unlock. I was wondering if someone else had this occur, and maybe knows which bridge to fix.

I hate to do all of them again.
My eyes arent what they used to be ... heh

Anyway, I'm at 9 x 191 = 1728

3dMark - 14,704

I'm think the 9.5 is the sweet spot.

10 wont complete 3dMark unless under 174 FSB and 3dMark drops to 14,497

Any input appreciated. Thx.

looks like the first L1 bridge is shorting out where you tried to connect it (the first L1 does the .5 multipliers)
just need to do the first bridge over again... but make sure you totally fill the trench this time with something innert

😉 Yeah that ties in 100% with a partially unsuccessful unlock. You probably got 2-3 of the L1 bridges but the others slipped you by. I'm afraid you either have to live with it the way it is or attempt to clean it all off and start again, which may result in no mulitiplier options just as easily as giving full access. I really despise AMD for making it so damn hard to unlock AthlonXP CPUs, o/c'ability in the enthusiast area is most of what got AMD where they are now!

Thanks for the reference material.

Heres the results .. heh

9.5 x 189.9 = 1803.7

3dMark - 15,030

Oh yah...
