Unlimited cellular phone service $32.99/MO

they prolly charge you roaming and long distance fees up the REAR! (just my speculation though, alot of smaller companies do)

I have a phone with the Cricket service here in NC. The service area is pretty big (the local area, about 1/4 of the state. You get unlimited calls to anywhere in your calling area (the area in which you can use your phone) with no long distance fees, but the downside is that you can't call anywhere outside of your calling area, and obviously once you're outside the calling area, you can't call anyone. There's no roaming option at all, the service just drops off. I pay about $33/month with no options (you can get Caller ID and Voicemail tho), and since I very rarely go outside of my calling area, I think it's a good plan. Calls that would cost extra on a regular phone (extended area, not quite long distance) are free on the Cricket. You can, however, pay ahead for long distance time if you want the option of calling numbers outside your calling area -- I think it's about $0.05 per minute.

Customer service has also been pretty good. Some months I've paid so close to the due date that I'm sure the payment has gotten there late, but I've never been charged late fees, and one month, for whatever reason, I didn't get a bill at all, and apparently wasn't charged for it either. There's also no yearly contract, the bill is month to month. Overall I think the cost is more than worth it.

Sorry for the long post 🙂

Surewest of sacramento offers this service for $39.99 a month. They gave free phone too. I'm on their service and they are fairly good. I get good reception just about anywhere. When you go out of their coverage you go onto the sprint network.

ive heard of surewest in 209 530 916 area code area in california...ive heard its pretty good too. if there was an all california one it would be sweet. but usually its only for local calling.

A chick that works for Einstein mentioned to me that they have some $40 unlimited calling plan. Sorry, I don't have any details.

I've been trying to convince my wife to dump her $20/month 75 minute plan, and go with the all you can eat local only cricket plan for $33. If she wants long distance she can use my (nextel) phone. If she travels outside of town, we go together most of the time anyway. It sounds like a great deal. She says it is the "welfare" deal since you pay in advance every month and you don't need good credit.

I really could use unlimited local minutes. Don't need long distance anyways (except to Germany).
Too bad that there is no provider for that in Colorado Springs, CO 🙁🙁🙁

I apologize in advance if I am wrong in posting this but ....
If you have a cell phone with unlimited local then 1-800 should be included right?
Well check out onesuite.com for 2.9 a minute U.S. and great overseas rates. Works like a phone card but you add time on line. I have to call Italy and I cant beat these rates.
