Unix/Linux Mail server options

Mostly I need an intranet mail option for fewer than 50 employees (won't grow past this for a couple years anyway). We're trying to stay open source (read 'free') whenever possible. I guess I can see some usefullness with remote access or webmail, but right now it isn't really needed.
