I'm a freshman at the UW, I'm curious if anyone here is in the Architecture program, the Informatics program or the Business program. I'm looking at most likely a combination of the three, dual-majoring, and I'm wondering if anyone has any advice.
To my knowledge, business is very competitive at UW.
Informatics is still relatively new and they had a fairly high acceptance rate for this past Fall's admissions cycle. If you want to get into a computer-related field that's more professionally oriented than CS, then look into the Computing and Software Systems program offered at the Tacoma and Bothell branch campuses.
junior here, just finished writing my statement of purpose for CS
btw, informatics... i have a few friends in there, and one of them is very dissatisfied to say the least. he frequently disses it, and tells me that it would be way too easy for me. just a thought.
