I got this last year (freshman). I'd forgotten to move it out of my shared folder. Guess what? They sent me 2 more of these for various other infractions, and all I ever had to do was email them saying "the material has been removed". The universities don't care about this crap, especially not the bandwith when each dorm is behind a T3 backbone. Our engineering center alone has quad OC-48s. The only reason they even sent me these emails is because they need to keep the RIAA/MPAA off their backs.
