I bought these kits at a local store for less than $15 even ;-). Refilling cartridges yourself with these kits is cheap, but the quality is pretty poor in my opinion.. Thank god I tested them on an old Epson 650... The print heads are sort of screwed now, but that might also be my fault.

Hey OnlineMom,

What would you say the quality difference is between those generic cartridges and real HP ones. I like to do photo quality printing on my HP 932C and I haven't taken the plunge on generic yet... anyone know???

Thanks,
Kirsten

:| Well, after checking nullI guess my HP 932C has one of the electronic chips built into the print cartridge so they can't do generic!!!

I have been using bulk ink from www.oddparts.com for over a year now. They have specific ink for specific printers. I don't know how many times I have refilled my black ink cartridge but it has paid for itself many times over with never a problem.
