United States Marines land near Kandahar

25MM full automatic gun, AP / HE rounds..

Check your references. Marines do not use Bradly's. Marines use LAV's and AmTrac's.

Bingo Lonewolf!😉 Beat me by a minute!

I feel sorry for you Marines. Those things are the type of crap the Canadian army uses. BTW - Canada makes some of your LAV's too 🙁

The LAV-25 is about the worst thing you can have in Afghanistan. They're very road-bound even in the kinder regions, and they're simply not going to survive an anti-tank mine placed along their necessary roads.

Hmmm... compared to what bin Laden has, I think the LAVs are superior. Besides, the USMC specilizes in amphib. assault, and last I checked, M1xx Abram's dont float too well. One final comment... they're MARINES. That fact alone pretty much leaves the Taliban up sh!t creek with the paddle jammed up their @ss.

Uhh... Up to a platoon of Abrams are deployed with MEUs... two MEUs are the units landing.

Yeah, but so far they have only been choppered in (according to the article), and I dont think any chopper in the USA inventory is capable of lifting a M1xx Abrams. Besides, my points stand... the LAVs are better than the armed pickups that bin Laden has, and M1's arent deployed in an amphib. assault. The are deployed afterward, for the push inland.
