Does anyone has any problems connecting to the UD server? I can't send or receive new wu's from them.
When he starts sending, which sometimes succeeds, he starts downloading and at about 90% he says
can't connect to UD server, backing off...
I do have a new wireless router and DSL modem, but when I use my old dialup it still goes wrong..

Please, someone help me.. I really can't connect my home pc to the UD server.. I don't know what's going on, but I've got 6 done wu's in my cache and nothing left to do 🙁
Anyone know which ports it needs? Maybe it's a firewall problem.. But everything else works perfectly. And he can transmit and receive, but when he's almost done he stops with an error..
Btw: my work pc did the trick, he pulled me to the other side of the 100K point barrier 😀

The problem is that the UD agent does connect, and it can send and receive data..
But at, for an example, 44Kb of the 48Kb wu it stops with an error.. So it did receive data.
The firewall is disabled and it's still occuring..
And the strange thing is, that even when I let it connect through my dialup connection, which
used to work fine, it still stops, before completion..

If you aren't noticing any other problems with your machine then it could possibly be a problem with the UD client..
Could be worth overwriting the UD exe files with fresh ones from another machine or just use winzip to exract them from the UD installer file.
Might be worth a go...

Thanks Colin! That just did the trick 🙂
I never used any anti-virus software untill now, and it seemed I had quite a few virusses on my pc 🙂
Almost every .exe file on my pc is infected.. So I let MCafee clean all of them and replaced the UD files
and everything is working again 🙂
