I drove a 2003 Achieva (rental) with the 4 banger. OMG!! That engine was rough running. Vibrating like a mofo. Not smooth like a Honda/Toyota 4 banger.

You probably mean the ALERO. Don't judge a car through a rental. The way I abuse rental cars, even a Lexus would run like crap after I'm through with it 😛

The Achieva, however, was indeed a P.o.S., but then again, so were most American sedans from the 80s and 90s.
