I'll be chilli'n in Bethesda till the end of this week. Are there any unique / exotic places to dine in Bethesda or the DC area? I'm specifically looking for places that offer maybe a bug / insect menu or eating sushi off a woman's body. I've seen these things on TV, so I'm willing to give it a try.

If so, please let me know where it is located, so I can plan my metro ride. I normally have some free time after 5PM, so I'm willing to check out some unique dining experiences and then burn it off at the local sites afterwards.

P.S. I remember people mentioned that DC is a relatively safe area compared to Baltimore. Is it still recommended to walk and check out the main sites at night?

You can always order take-out sushi and go find a hooker.

I just moved to Bethesda, so I don't have any real suggestions for you.

It's fairly far from where you are, but Momo Sushi & Cafe is delicious deliciousness. It's a small place, so don't bring the whole gang. If you're into sushi, however, you owe it to yourself to go there and partake.

keep in mind the half of ATOT is afraid to leave their bedrooms after dark. there's plenty of safe areas in both Baltimore and DC before, after, and during dark.

i like Jaleo (Spanish tapas) in Bethesda.

There's Joe's Noodle in Rockville, pretty close to Bethesda, which is an EXCELLENT Szechuan place.

Plenty of great food in DC, too. I recommend picking up a Zagat's, choosing a cuisine, and going from there.

I'm from the southern side of the DC/Metro area, but have been all over there. If you can't find a good place to eat in any given place from Leesburg to Annapolis, you aren't trying.

If you're into chinese, I also highly recommend Full Kee in Chinatown in DC. For middle-eastern, there's some great places but especially various locations of Lebanese Taverna, and Shamshiri in McLean (in Virginia). Pizza, there's 2Amy's and Pizza Paradiso in DC in various locations (Paradiso in Georgetown and DuPont Circle, I forget where 2Amy's is).
