WASHINGTON, D.C. - Less than a week after their appearance at the White House State Dinner, Michaele and Tareq Salahi have some more explaining to do. Representatives from the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation say the couple also attended their recent awards dinner without an invitation, and multiple sources say they snuck in to the event through an entrance meant for bus boys and caterers.

I think this explains why they did it.

The whole entitlement mindset pisses me off. Just because they feel self-important enough doesn't mean they're anything more than rich snobs that aren't worth the air they breathe.

The other day I was reading an article about these two, i think it was on yahoo. But anyways, in the article they stated these two couples were in talks with networks for interviews about their crashing the white house state dinner stunt. And supposedly if the networks wanted to interview them they had to pony up like 6 figures to these two people.

I heard something on the news the other day too about how they won't say anything else for less than that 6 figures. Rediculous.

NBC got the interview. They say no money will be paid. At least, thats what they claim.

What's important is not those people but that someone was able to sneak into a presidential party right under the Secret Service's nose.

Not clear yet that they didn't have some inside help. There are now emails from some Obama pentagon appointee, Michele Jones, a special assistant to Defense Secretary Robert Gates. She claims she told them they didn't have invitations but the emails have not yet been released. I suspect there is a lot more to this than what has been revealed to date.

I'm glad they did it, because it shows how weak our President's protection is.

I agree, it does show a problem with security. Hopefully they shore up this and any other holes in the security before anything serious ever happens.

who cares, if they killed Obama, no sweat off my back.

Secret Service should have figured it out though, at least I would assume they are supposed to.

Saw in an article somewhere the other day that the major news organizations don't pay for interviews, but they will pay for "exclusive materials" like pictures and stuff.

Not cool... even if you don't like the president, it's not really appropriate to welcome his assassination.

I think because these people did this for financial gain, and because there are bound to be people who want to copy them, they really need to be prosecuted if possible.
