A line in New Zealand singer Lorde's song "Royals" released last summer that goes, "But everybody's like Cristal, Maybach, diamonds on your timepiece," has all kinds of kiddies trying to figure out "WTF is a Maybach?"

that sent the cost of online advertising targeting potential Maybach buyers up by 233 percent.

unfortunately, the millenials doing the searches are unqualified to afford a Maybach.

It took a while for the company to notice the paradox that those prized eyeballs boosting the ad value of the product wouldn't provide any benefit to the advertiser.

lol 😀

unfortunately, the millenials doing the searches are unqualified to afford a Maybach.

99% of people can't afford a Maybach at any age. But it's foolish to assume that the wealthy don't listen to pop music or that young people can't inherit wealth.

I thought Maybach went out of business a few years ago?

They're still around according to the Maybach site. I think they were dead for a long time and MB resurrected them a number of years back.

Edit- Never mind that is a luxury goods company using their brand. Wikipedia says cars died last year.

Daimler announced in November 2011 that Maybach will cease to be a brand by 2013 and manufactured the last Maybach vehicle in December 2012.
