Uninstalling default video drivers for vista.

Okay I am not a complete idiot here 😉
However when I uninstall the default video drivers for vista it just automatically installs them again before I can get the warcat's installed.

Any ideas on how to do this properly? I hate installing new drivers over old ones, I always like to completely remove any old ones first but vista will not let me.

Bump, would love to know how to completely un install a video driver and not have vista automatically re-install it.

I dont have vista!!!!

But you need to uninstall then you you are done go back in and select standard vga or some such and install.

Thats how I have to do certain ati video cards in xp to avoid it reinstalling the old drivers 🙂
