Uninstalled Panda AV stronger than Installed Norton Corp

Well Panda AV has been giving me some problems so I decided to uninstall it and put the free school AV software on (Nort Corp).

Then a friend of mine needs a serial, so I go hunting around for it. Find it, DL the zip and did something real stupid.

I felt compelled to run both the exe's that came with the zip, even though I know I shouldn't. I had just scanned both with norton AV.

Run first, fine, get the serial.

Run 2nd, nothing happens, boom OUT OF NOWHERE panda AV shoots up saying so and so Trojan virus. Cleans. Deletes.

Norton AV didn't do anything.

Dead Panda AV > Alive Norton AV.

Out of nowhere eh? Obviously you didn't uninstall Panda, and it's not clear if you have upto date defs for Norton or not. So, without more information, it's kinda hard to tell what really happened....

You got what you deserved, and if you think you'll get compassion or sympathy from us you're dead wrong. Next time stay away from cracks and serials since you don't have a clue as to what you are doing.
