Uninstall old Catalyst drivers or install new over old?

Uninstall the old ones is always recommended. I believe the Omega's can be copied over the older ones.

I've installed the vast majority of Catalyst drivers right over the top with no issues (and that includes many different driver builds, sometimes several times a month). Its pretty rare that it would cause any issues, and the couple times I thought maybe it had I did use driver cleaner to start fresh.

I'd say most of the time, installing Catalyst drivers over the top of the old ones is perfectly fine and recommended.
