Yeah don't worry about the max frames. The FPS and Score is what we look at. Try getting that memory as high as you can. I have seen 1890 as the highest.
score went down about 300 points when I bumped the memory up to 1450. I'll try 1425, but I have a feeling 1400 is going to be as high as I can go.

Edit: I ran it with 1150/1425 and got a pretty good result. Man this is addicting!

Looking good! 🙂 I been having fun with it too. Been killing my card though, I will have the new cooler on soon and will try to break my old record.

Bah. After a few hours of gaming, my core frequency started throttling down to 850 and the same thing with the memory. This surprises me because everything was working flawlessly. I don't know what happened?

I was having some throttling issues after my 1839 score at 1150/1425 so I put everything back to stock except for power at +20% and I scored higher than my mildly overclocked score (picture above is with mild overclock). Something strange is happening here. I ended up with a score of 1552 at stock settings.

Not what I was expecting, but I guess it's okay. Using my stable overclocks.

This is the most I seem to be able to get with my card. It seems stable in games so far. The only issue like I've mentioned before is when ever my computer sleeps for a while or when the video out powers down, when ever I wake the computer back up the card will throttle itself under load no matter if everything is at stock settings or OCed. I'll just leave it at there must be some software quirk somewhere that is fixed by a restart of the system. Anyway my clocks are 1200/1425. When I put my memory at 1450 my card crashes so the highest I go is 1425. I'm sure I may be able to go higher than 1200 on the core, but that's the highest CCC will go and I am quite alright with that. After all I am get better than 7970 Ghz performance out of a 7950 for way less money. It feels good.

Good Job bud!! Nice clocks!!

One thing is that these scores are affected, albeit minorly, by the settings you set in the Nvidia settings or CCC. I turned everything off and ran in high performance mode and I was able to bump my maximum fps a full 2 fps higher, with no indication at the results screen that AA wasn't running. Minor, but still significant when comparing to have similar settings across the board.

Were your AVG scores affected?

Over @ OCN some people are also using their HD 4000's along with the dedicated GPU to make scores look inflated. You can pick them out because they will say intel in the GPU model section along with the dedicated GPU.

My best using stock Nvidia settings:

My best using "cheating" settings:

As far as I see, there is nothing to indicate that I set AA off and everything else off. IDK, maybe somehow the application overcomes my settings and its just the "high performance" image quality setting that causes the difference, because I figured the fps would be much higher turning AA and everything else off . . . .

You aren't getting good scaling with tri-SLI in that benchmark. I score almost as well as you just running SLI.

I got 112 with SLI Titans before I received my 3rd card. 113 when I had Quad-SLI 690s. Heaven and 3DMark11 do much better. I'm #4 so far on the OCN leaderboard for Heaven and I get over 27K in 3DMark11 performance, over 14K on extreme.

I'm done overclocking, testing, and benchmarking for now. Time to use them for gaming. 🙂
