I recommend these phones. I have 2 of them- one with built-in digital ans. machine and one just like this one- both great phones. Plus this one is cheaper than the battery to replace it!

the battery just died in my Uniden 900mhz phone only after bout 8 months. model EXP2800. Went to uniden website to order the battery for $10.50, thought was good deal till the shipping came up as 7 bux. I can buy new phone for that, as Im sure the new battery will just crap out again after another several months.
