We don't see too many cordless phone deals here, picked this up today, menus are easy to work with, sound is perfect and it takes up the same width as a cdrom.

$39.99 - $15 MIR = $24.99 - other models also available with answering machine, extra headsets.

can this one be used as an extra handset?

Exactly what I want to know.. Already have the base unit with answering machine, but, need an extra couple handsets...

I don't think you can use this one as an extra handset... But they do also sell the extra handets for $29.95.

So a set of this and an extra handset would come to a total of $69.98 + tax - $15.00 (rebate) = $54.98 + tax.

Not bad - but I saw today that you can get a 2 phone 5.8 digital system with answering system at OfficeMax for $59.99 with no rebates.

These are GREAT phones.

I have a dual setup at home, and the exact model in the OP at work.
The features are great, calls are clear, and they are very sturdy.
