That would have been a tough decision to make. You did the right thing and I believe after some major contemplation, I might have done the same.

My ex-gf found a $1000 bill at the grocery store then found the person it belonged too. Another time she bought some costume jewelry at a nice store, they added a $2800 diamond engagement ring by accident. She brought that back and they eventually gave her a $100 gift cert. Whew, I guess I was close to getting engaged for free, glad she brought it back!
