OK, I just watched the video. So was kerry lying in his autobiography? Was the Boston Globe's book a lie too?

Koppel doesn't seem to understand or be willing to admit that the people they interviewed in Vietnam may not be correct. He also doesn't seem interested in dealing with kerry or the BG's statements- he only seems to want to go after the SwiftBoat guys. Ofcourse if Koppel would have paid attention - he would understand that by trying to discredit the SwiftBoat guys - he would be discrediting kerry and the Boston Globe too.

I really could care less what kerry did to that kid in a loin cloth(or guy fully dressed), but for you all to say this little program discredits anything is silly It didn't do anything except muddy the water even more.

Uh... Righ, O'Neil was a complete douche and consistantly interrupted Koppel. The point of the interview was about the interview with the natives, not with his group. Koppel did need to pay attention to O'Neil he didnt even answer his fricken questions. Of course if you dont care, you wont respond to a thread like this right?

Sure, he interrupted koppel, but koppel was being stupid and not understanding what he was saying. koppel couldn't get it through his skull of mush that if he tries to discredit the swiftboat's account - he automatically discredits the Boston Globe AND kerry's own autobiography.
And no, I don't really care what kerry did to that kid(guy), but again - for people in this thread to claim koppel somehow put the smack down on him or discredited him is laughable.
