My friend from out of state called me on the phone and had somebody ask if it was me when I picked up, which I found slightly odd. I asked him who it was and he stated the name of a mutual online friend to whom I've never spoken with on the phone. He then handed the phone to somebody else who I thought was this friend and we talked for about 2 or 3 minutes or so. The stuff he was telling me didn't seem like it was the person I was talking to, but I went with it anyways.
After my friend gets back on the phone, I asked him why it didn't seem like our friend. He told me I was talking to Adam D. from Killswitch Engage. Wow, that was pretty badass. The guy was really cool and nice too. I've become obsessed with their latest album 'Alive or Just Breathing' recently and I hear their new stuff they're going to be recording soon is excellent as well.
I know most people probably don't know who this band is, but I just wanted to share the info because this really made my day
