<< i guess they'll try really hard. >>

im surprised they can turn on their computers, get on the internet, and then remember what the url is! a task which is daunting for many people without alzheimer's...rednecks for example.

I have a feeling that the site isnt for people with advanced Alzhiemers. I think it's a fundraising tool.

it may very well be a laughing matter, if you've not had a relative (two, actually) F'ING DIE from the disease....but not before their minds melted away leaving a walking, breathing corpse as your relative.

I am taking care of my mother who was diagnosed with alzheimers almost 4 years ago. If it were not for finding humor in some of the incidents/mistakes/misunderstandings I would have been a basket case myself long ago........I recently had a friend visit with his son. He introduced his son to my mom as "My boy".............Mom thought they were blatantly gay :)

I, for one, didn't think the topic was offensive. And anyone who actually read your message could have seen that you weren't making fun of the people with the disease -- you were laughing at the irony in the webpage.

I'm not insensitive to those people who have had loved ones pass on, but come on, if you really thought ravanux was making fun of people with the disease, then you really need to be a bit less sensitive.
