I have a cheap arse digital camera and was wondering if I could take underwater pictures with it by sticking it in a zip-lock bag and removing excess air. Anyone ever try something this?
i would be curious to hear if it works. i wanted to try that last time i was in hawaii was too afraid to destroy my camera and just bought a $12 disposable waterproof. unfortunately, the pictures from those cameras always suck.
Had a friend that did try a ziplock bag. He bought an expensive one...forget which.
He double bagged it.
Camera was not damaged, pictures were okay, but condensation eventually became a problem.

what you need is one of those vaccuum sealer machines that they have on informercials. those would remove all the air (and moisture).
